Using My Traditional Paintings as Visual Prompts
I am attempting to import my style into Firefly. It is not easy. First off Firefly draws a lot better than I do. Secondly there are aspects of my drawing I can't translate. For instance I have a painting of a god with an open mouth and his eyes and mouth are just filled with chartreuse light. No amount of negative prompting can get those teeth out of a mouth generated by Firefly.
All problems and battle scars aside, the project is interesting. I'm having to dissect my influences and styles. I think I'm doing one thing but find maybe it is really more of something else. I don't know if this is good for me. This exercise is making me see my own work as woefully inferior where before I thought of it as asymmetrical, organic, wabi sabi or perfectly imperfect. But, then again its me driving the bus so I guess its alright. Its been a lot of fun using AI to generate images with my themes and symbolism in my style.
